Accessibility Statement

Effective March 2026

Dark Horse Advisory is committed to making this website accessible to all visitors, including people with disabilities. We believe that everyone should be able to access the information and services we offer, regardless of ability or technology.

Standards We Follow

This website is designed to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level. These guidelines are the widely accepted standard for web accessibility and address the needs of people with visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities.

What We Have Done

  • Semantic HTML is used throughout the site to support screen readers and assistive technologies.

  • All text meets WCAG AA contrast ratio requirements against its background.

  • The site is fully navigable by keyboard without requiring a mouse.

  • The layout is responsive and readable across screen sizes, from mobile devices to desktop monitors.

  • Page structure uses proper heading hierarchy (h1, h2, h3) so screen readers can navigate content efficiently.

  • All links are descriptive and clearly indicate their destination or purpose.

  • The site does not rely on color alone to convey information.

  • Animations are minimal and do not interfere with content readability.

  • The HTML language attribute is set to English to support proper screen reader pronunciation.

Known Limitations

This is a simple, text-based website with no forms, media players, interactive applications, or user-generated content. As a result, many common accessibility challenges do not apply. If you encounter any content that is difficult to access, we want to know about it.

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. If you experience difficulty accessing any part of this website, or if you have suggestions for improvement, please contact us at christy@thedarkhorseadvisory.com. We take accessibility feedback seriously and will respond within five business days.
